Chane Early Childhood Development and Education Foundation is a developing Charity Organization located in southeast of Africa , Malawi. It is situated in Nkhotakota District one kilometer west of Nkhotakota town following the Road to Kasungu. It was established on 3 July 2008 by a lady Nema Banda

Chane Early childhood development is committed to provide quality early childhood development services, to help children grow to become healthy, successful, productive, God fearing and self-reliant citizens.

Chane Director: Nema Kalumbaine Banda

Nema is the founder of Chane Foundation whose aims are to bring Early Childhood Development services to rural communities, encourage boys and girls to take their education seriously and encourage dropouts to go back to school, Assist those with financial problems with fees upon availability of funds,, inspire and encourage adults to go back to school, give civic education and counseling on matters of social concern..

Although Chane Foundation is facing financial challenges, she does not just sit waiting for well wishers or donors but uses her meager resources to carry-out her activities.Apart from the study circle She has sponsored two students and one is writing Form Four Exams this year. She has embarked on a project of a model ECD Centre which is at foundation stage, and with funds from Marit and Sloveig she has assisted two rural ECD Centres in Villages Katimba and Mkombozi to have their blocks roofed, and over 100 children have since been prepared to go to primary schools from Chane ECD Centre and are performing very well.
